1. Driving time: 15 minutes

Instructions:

1. From the airport take the Francisco Medina Asencio Boulevard South towards downtown Puerto Vallarta
2. Once you have arrived on the cobble stoned streets you will come to the Malecon (beachfront boardwalk)  and on your left will be the restaurant MacDonalds.  Drive one block past MacDonalds and turn left on Allende and proceed four blocks and turn right on Matamoros and proceed directly to Hotel Suites La Siesta.

TRANSPORTATION:
 
The Puerto Vallarta International Airport is 5 miles to Hotel Suites La Siesta.  It is served by Aeromexico, Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, America West, Aviacsa, Continental Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Lineas Aereas Azteca, Mexicana Airlines, Sun Country and United Airlines. Rental cars are available at the airport.  There is self-parking at the Hotel.

Weather:

1. In general the climate is warm all year, with tropical temperatures.  The Bay of Banderas in front of us and the Sierra Madre mountains behind us provide cooling breezes in the Summer and shelter from the harsh Pacific winds in the Winter.
2. Summers are sunny with an increase in humidity during the rainy season, between late June and October.  At that time thunderstorms often make their way over the mountains reaching Puerto Vallarta in the evening.  The rain typically last no more than an hour or two permitting outdoor activities in the sun for the majority of the day.
3. Winter days are generally warm, sunny and dry and the nights cool.
